Chamber Profile: The Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce
The Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) was established in 1997 and was originally established as the York North Chamber of Commerce. The name was officially changed to Mactaquac Country Chamber of Commerce in 2010, which was more reflective of the area it represents. The Chamber territory encompasses the peaceful communities of Harvey, Keswick, Millville and Nackawic, home to many fine attractions and unique visiting opportunities. Here you will find the World’s Largest Axe, Maple Leaf and Violin, and many other attractions exclusive to Mactaquac Country. The Chamber territory also contains the King's Landing Historic Settlement. Nestled in a majestic setting, this award-winning living history village depicts the one hundred year transformation of a young colony into a vibrant nation.
Volunteers and members form the backbone of our organization. The Chamber sponsors its Annual General Meeting, Annual Awards Banquet, Annual Golf Tournament and Annual Charity Casino, giving our 75 members the opportunity to network.
The MCCC vision is to “Become a stronger and more effective organization through increased membership and membership participation. To enhance the profile of the chamber as the leading organization that regional businesses will want to join.” Our mission is “to promote Chamber members by providing tangible benefits, acting as a catalyst for networking and educational opportunities and serving as a vehicle for economic growth. We will be the voice and advocate of business in Mactaquac Country.”
