Chair of New Brunswick Chamber of Commerce is Keynote Speaker at the November 6 New Brunswick Foundation of the Arts Scholarship and Awards Gala Event

FREDERICTON, NB – Peter Lindfield, chair of the New Brunswick Chamber of Commerce will deliver the keynote speech at the New Brunswick Foundation of the Arts awards cocktail jazz reception at the Beaverbrook Art Gallery on November 6th, 2009 at 6:30 pm.

Mr. Lindfield will speak on the importance of art and culture to business in New Brunswick.

“We know that the cultural attributes of a region have a profound impact on its competitiveness,” said Mr. Lindfield, “and that the nature of that impact is complex and manifold. Investments in art and culture have a direct bearing on the well-being of the citizens of New Brunswick.”

The special awards ceremony and scholarship event is sponsored by Caisses populaires acadiennes, J.D. Irving Ltd. and TD Canada Trust. More than 120 VIPs are expected to attend.
