Atlantic Provinces Chamber of Commerce (APCC)
The APCC, formerly the Maritime Board of Trade, was formed in 1896. It has been championing the cause of business in Atlantic Canada for more than a century, and continues to promote and support business and economic development in Atlantic Canada.
Canadian Chamber of Commerce
Since 1925, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce has been the largest, most influential advocate for business in Canada. Founded with the aim of creating a strong, unified voice for Canadian business and a set of values from which policies encouraging prosperity would emerge, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce continues to be the only voluntary, non-political association that has an organized grassroots affiliate in every federal riding.
Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC)
The BIAC represents the business community’s views to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) on issues facing the business community within the industrialized world.
Canadian Labour and Business Centre (CLBC)
The CLBC is a "think-tank" that focuses on business-labour dialogue and consensus building. Through its research, the CLBC aims to improve business and labour practices in Canada.
Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB)
The CCAB is dedicated to promoting the full participation of aboriginal people and communities in the Canadian economy. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a member of the CCAB.
Canadian Services Coalition
The Canadian Services Coalition (CSC) is designed to provide a strong and cohesive voice to the Canadian services industry. The main objective of the CSC is to liberalize services markets throughout the world by removing trade and investment barriers for the Canadian services sector as a means of increasing the opportunities available to Canadian companies. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a member of CSC.
Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE)
The CSAE is a knowledge-based organization that promotes excellence in association management and, as the representative for associations and other not-for-profit organizations, advocates legislators and policy makers on issues impacting the effectiveness of the sector. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a member of the CSAE.
C.D. Howe Institute
The C.D. Howe Institute is an independent, nonprofit, economic and social policy research institution. The Institute identifies emerging problem areas and explores practical options for policy reform. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a member of the C.D. Howe Institute.
Chamber of Commerce Executives of Canada (CCEC)
CCEC is a national association geared to serving individuals involved in the management of chambers of commerce and boards of trade. The Canadian Chamber of Commerce assists the CCEC in promoting its activities with the chamber network.
Forum for International Trade Training (FITT)
The Canadian Chamber of Commerce is a founding supporter and board member for FITT, an organization dedicated to upgrading the export market skills for Canadian companies. Students of this program can earn the professional designation of a Certified International Trade Professional.
International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)
The ICC promotes global trade, investment, open markets and free capital flows. It consults with the United Nations (UN) on key business-related issues and is a conduit between global business and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
World Chambers Federation (WCF)
A division of the International Chamber of Commerce, the WCF enables chambers from all over the world to exchange experiences and improve their performance in areas such as finance, management and the development and promotion of services.
